For what?: Hospital visit? Er visit? Office visit? This is an open ended question, and the answer varies with the provisions of your plan. The higher the deductible, the lower the premiums.

Depends upon Premium: Generally the higher the insurance plans deductible the lower the monthly premium. Deductibles relate to first dollar coverage. The more money the buyer wishes to take the responsibility for will causes the monthly premium to go down. Insurance coverage is all about how much financial risk the purchaser is willing to take upon themselves.
