Jaw pain with noise: It is possible but not likely. The cartildge between the condyle and the bone is likely out of place. You need to see you dentist for a full evaluation.

TMJ consult: At 24 unlikely. I would get it checked out if interested. Start with your dentist and get a referral if needed. A nightguard separates teeth therefore helps with grinding, but you need to get to the etiology of the problem for definitive help/
