Painful bladder: Patients diagnosed with interstitial cystitis (ic) can have many different urinary symptoms, but most share a deep pelvic or bladder pain with urine storage that is relieved after voiding. Ic is now usually called painful bladder syndrome or pbs. Urgency, frequency, and pain with urination are also common.
