A member asked:

Can hepatitisc transmit easily?a shopkeeper handled my credit card with blood on his hands and handed it back to me, now i am scared. thing to worry?

No: Not to worry. Hepatitis c is not that easily transmitted in such activities of everyday life. That means... Not another thought about this. Unless, you're the unluckiest person in the whole country, and that was real blood, and the blood had lots of viruses, and lots of blood and viruses got all over the credit card, and... And... No, it's too hypothetical. So, not to worry.

Hep C: Hep c is usually not casually transmitted. Even the rates of sexual transmission are low. It can be transmitted by needles, contaminated blood products, dirty medical instruments, poor immunization practices and even sharing snorting tubes with intra nasal cocaine. The scenario you describe is very unlikely to transmit hepatitis c.
