Oral ulcer: Hello, it is common to see a referred pain occur in the throat or ears with these oral ulcerations. They are usually viral and will respond to analgesics and topical therapy. If this ulceration persists beyond 7-10 days in total, see your doctor.

Probably: If what you have is an apthous ulcer (canker sore), it can be very painful and the pain can be referred all over. Check with your dentist that this is the situation.
