You need an exam: To figure this out. Start with a dentist to rule out common causes of jaw pain but be prepared to see other specialists if a dental explanation is not clear. It could be pain from your jaw joint, teeth or sinuses among other things. Best to get it checked out.

Fever: Fever would indicate infection. Start with your Dentist and have a thorough examination done. If there are no dental issues, the next step would be to see your Primary Care Physician for a full work-up.
