Probably benign: There's about a 12% risk these will prove to be malignant. That leaves an 88% chance of benignancy. Good luck with the biopsy - i hope you get good results.

Yes: Pleomorphic calcifications means the calcium deposits are different shapes and sizes. This can be normal, or it can represent atypical ductal hyperplasia (adh), ductal carcinoma in situ (dcis), or invasive cancer. I'm very glad you're having a biopsy because that's the right thing to do and the only way to know for sure! i hope it's benign, but if not, you've caught it early! good luck to you.
