Understand concern: The question is why he had had 8 ct scans in 1 year. You will not die from that many, but you are receiving a small dose of radiation with each one.Your cumulative risk of getting cancer increases over your lifetime if you continue to get scans at this rate. Please stick with one doctor and let him/her manage your care and figure out what is going on with you.
