Two Possible Reasons: The two most common reasons for this are when women take hormones post-menopause and weight gain after menopause. If breasts are tender, this is not normal, and should be investigated. Also I assuming that mammograms remain normal. In my patients, we do sensitive salivary hormone testing and only give back what is missing for symptom relief while rechecking levels along the way.
