Urgency: Urinary urgency in women may be due to pregnancy or diabetes. Certin foods , especially ones that contain cafeine can also cause urgency. Consult a urologist for help.

Overactive Bladder: Urinary frequency can be caused by intravesical pathology (things within the bladder), or extravesical pathology (things outside of the bladder). Intravesical causes: inflammation (with or without infection)- cystitis, interstitial cystitis, bladder stones, tumors/neoplasm, metaplasia, and dyplasia. Extravesical causes: ureteral stones, stroke, spinal injury, ms etc. Hematuria needs evaluation.
