A member asked:

What are the risks of low blood pressure of 92/51 and dilated veins ? what causes dilation? what can be done to correct this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

no risk: BP has to be taken in context. If your normal BP is 140/90 and someone shoots you, a BP of 92/51 is ominous. But if you're an otherwise healthy 29 year old woman who is generally feeling okay, 92/51 is very healthy. Dilated veins (aka varicose veins) are inherited and also occur when there is resistance to emptying - a typical cause is pregnancy. They are cosmetically objectionable but harmless.
