blue dot: The blue dot may be a floater, a small fragment of vitreous jelly, that moves in and out of your field of view. It may also be a transient visual change such as an ocular migraine (without the headache part). It could also be a small retinal tear or hole. See you local eye doctor for an exam if symptoms persist.
