Side effect: If the racing thoughts happen again that might be a sign it is the medicine although that experience you described is not a typical Depakote side effect. Any pharmacological agent use in psychiatry can lead to increased behavioral problems and so caution is always a good idea with new medicines. I would definitely let your prescribing physician know about real soon! stay safe!
