Hormones: It sounds as if there is a hormonal issue going on. Of course, not normal to bleed solely for a 1/2 day. It's good to check pregnancy test, as sometimes light spot and can still be pregnant. Consider re-test for pregnancy in 3-4 days. Otherwise, hormonal imbalance and doctor can help with that.
