A member asked:

Can the stomach be palpated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not specificly: After decades of exam i can not really say i can palpate a stomach.I suppose if it were filled with air or a large bezoar i might feel it.I can routinely percuss out the air bubble. The structure is flacid unless full and is not hard like a spleen or kidney where the margin can be appreciated.
