A member asked:

I was just making a fire outside and i burned old magazines the kind with the glossy colors etc and i breathed in a lot of the smoke. was this bad?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Most people will not have significant trouble breathing in smoke although you may have sore cough and mild irritation of the throat. If you had asthma, COPD or another breathing problem, it would be best to avoid breathing smoke.
