when taking yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) on the first day of your period, how many days after are you protected against pregnancy without using condoms?

First pack of pills?: In reality, a woman is not fertile during the few days of her real period. When starting her first pack of birth control, she can use condoms in addition to the pills, for more protection. If she is taking a pill every day at the same hour, and doesn't miss any pills, then she doesn't have to use condoms for preg. Prevention during the second pack of pills. But, condoms do prevent other diseases.
