Be Careful: The company that produces the birth control pill "yaz" (generic: drospirenone/ethinyl estradiol, by Bayer (aspirin) pharmaceuticals), just finished a large, class-action lawsuit for the drug being shown to cause DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and many women were awarded hundreds-of-thousands of dollars, as a result. There are safer alternatives, please speak to your pcp or ob-gyn for options!
