my 2 yr old got the flu mist. 48 hrs later he has a runny nose and low grade fever. could this be from the mist? is he contagious? how long last?

Possibly, both;: If he is contagious, it is with the weakened flu virus, and the most he can do to someone else is give them a free FluMist by sneezing on them.
