Oral ulcer treatment: Cause of oral ulcers unknown. Some cases related to the tooth paste detergent sodium lauryl sulfate so avoidance may help. Some cases related to celiac or inflammatory bowel disease so treatment of GI symptoms may help. Deficiencies of iron, vitamin b, Folic Acid cause some cases so replacement of these substances results in resolution. Using a corticosteroid in an oral gel can decrease symptoms.

Avoid acids: You must stop drinking and eating acidic foods and drinks. Stay away from coffee, tea, soda tomatoes tomato sauce oranges and orange juice and other similar foods and drinks. Try taking an ounce of mylanta liquid using this to swish around in your mouth after each meal and before bed. Often saliva can be acidic and lead to ulcers.
