A member asked:

What does it mean to have mostly clumpy blood on your period? one day liquidy, but mostly its clumpy & thick pieces of blood. is this bad or serious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most likely not: Clumpy blood is clotted blood. Portions of the uterus lining are also shed during a period. This is normal. It grows back.
