No: The typical rule of thumb is that if a child holds medicine down for at least 20 minutes, there is no need to repeat if they vomit.

If within 15 minutes: If the child vomits within 15 minutes of swallowing the dose of medicine, you can safely repeat the dose. This means a full forced vomit, not just little baby spit-ups. If longer than 15 minutes consider the dose given and you cannot repeat until the next scheduled dose.
