Could a small rash near my armpit that progressed to having small, dark centers and tender axillary lymph nodes be from a toenail fungus i may have?

Spread of Fungus: I have never heard of spread of the fungus in athlete's feet/toenails to other body parts so it is probably rare. That being said it is an infection, and depending on personal habits, some spread makes sense. It is best to see a dermatologist for this anyway. They will probably culture both areas (or can) and see what they are healing with. Swollen lymph nodes should be taken seriously. Dr blake.
