Maybe inflammation: It could be costochondritis w/ pain ; tenderness at the cartilaginous joints where your ribs ; breastbone meet. Sometimes swelling ; inflammation may occur. You should get evaluated to make sure it is nothing more serious such as a heart condition, lung problem, autoimmune disorder, or other illness.
