Yes: Hormones definitely can affect discharge production. You are right that so long as discharge doesn't smell funny or itch, there likely isn't an infection. Hopefully your cycle will regulate after taking the plan b.

Possible: Also Plan B or morning after pill should not be used as a contraceptive , such use may not be good for your long term health, see gynecologist and get definitive measures.
