blood pressure: Your blood pressure can go to zero, but you'll die. Generally below 90/60 we begin to see symptoms or measures of decreased perfusion. Some people tolerate lower bps however but not much lower.

Pretty Low: Some people are happy walking around at 90/60. Others would faint. Depends what you are used to and the condition of your arteries. Usual goal for high blood pressure treatment is to get the pressure below 130/90.

Depends on person: A blood pressure is only too low when there are symptoms. Many people have normal sbp in 90's range. My own has occasionally been in 80's, but no symptoms (no medication or medical problems either).

Blood pressure: You can increase the fluids and salt in your diet, wear support hose and pay attention when you are standing up to do it slowly. If this is something new for you, should check with your doctor to be sure nothing else is going on.

Yes, but uncommon.: If BP is too low, one can faint (loss of consciousness) until ones head is level with ones feet (usually, if one falls due to fainting, consciousness returns soon after one falls to the ground). Unconsciousness when one faints is, in some sense, a transient comatose state. If low BP causes fainting, upon awakening, if one does not drink or get IV fluids, fainting can recur upon sitting up.

Why a low blood pressure can not go for a sauna?

See below.: Lawyers are afraid the heat will cause peripheral blood vessels to dilate and allow blood to pool in extremities thereby lowering blood pressure causing a faint. If you are young and otherwise healthy I am not sure this applies to you. It would most certainly apply to someone taking a lot of meds or with significant vascular disease. Drink plenty of water and electrolytes before you go.

Problem?: Just like the limbo saying: "how low can you go?" even if the top number of your blood pressure hovers around 90, the real question is ... How do you feel? You don't have to do anything if you don't feel dizzy or fog-brained, chest pain, palpitations or shortness of breath. Some very well trained jocks or yogi's also have low blood pressure - a sign of how efficiently their bodies work. Good luck!
