pain: This is a tough question to answer. Many things can cause pain. Lipase sounds like its normal. You could have pain related to musculoskeletal issues or possibly referred pain. Also nerve compression can cause pain. No kidney issue? No history of uti? No fever? Ever seen a chiropractor?

Hard to find a source of chronic pain: It is hard to find a source of chronic pain. We might consider a variety of causes since it is in one location, it's nothing has been identified you may benefit from a program that basically deprograms the pain. These are difficult skill sets. The better you can define where the pain is what makes it better if anything and what makes it worse the better your physician can try to do that . We call this characterizing the pain.
