A member asked:

For contact wearers, blood vessels in the eyes can become enlarged to transport oxygen. are there ways to lessen this effect? thank you.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If too advanced: You need to stop wearing your contact lenses, do not wear contacts over night, follow the regimen prescribed for length of time you wear a pair of cantacts(usually 14 to 30 days). There is no treat to make them go away or regress. Your cornea does not need blood vessels to get oxygen, these blood vessels are not good to have.
