Tylenol (acetaminophen): It is a far more complicated answer than that. Where are the headaches, how often, are they associated with any sensations or triggers? But if they are infrequent and Tylenol (acetaminophen) works, stick with it.

Complex Question...: Simple answer, if you have infrequent tension type headaches what works best for you is what you should take. If liver issues or if you drink routine alcohol would use ibuprofen (Advil) & if stomach or kidney probs acetaminophen (tylenol). You use a tens unit, if this is neck related NSAID's, ibuprofen may be better. If frequent or other symptoms it could be migraines or other issue and need eval.
