May not be related: It is normal to find a few epithelial cells in urine samples because of regular shedding of these cells which line the bladder and external urethra. An increased quantity of epithelial cells in urine usually just suggests a contaminated specimen; less likely a health problem. I would suspect another reason indicated for your ultrasound unless they found very unusual types of cells.
