Dizziness: Check your BP and heart rate in lying down and standing posture. Check out any orthostatic hypotension? It is defined as a fall in systolic blood pressure of at least 20 mm hg or diastolic blood pressure of at least 10 mm hg when a person assumes a standing position. If your BP drops ; heart rate increases as a compensatory mechanism. Drink plenty of fluids. Anxiety could increase heart rate.
