OK if < 3 hours: Nuvaring may slip out when having intercourse. As long it has been < 3 hours --it's ok! what to do: rinse NuvaRing with cool-to-lukewarm (not hot) water and reinsert it as soon as possible, at the latest within 3 hours. You should still be protected from pregnancy. Remember NuvaRing does not protect against std's, however.
