Life expectancy for stage 4 primary liver cancer for a 84 years old person with a spread in the lung?

It is guess work: It is hard to give you reliable response without examining the patient and without knowing any history or results of her blood tests which can show the severity of liver disease. In general, most patients with stage 4 liver cancer have a short survival(2 to 6 months). You should ask this question to her treating doctor(s).

See below: It is hard to estimate life expectancy, it largely depends on other medical comobidities especially the liver function; there are drugs that can be effective (not curative) and prolong life but will require good liver function and good functional status; discuss with your oncologist.
