Conditioning..: Somehow you have conditioned your body to respond to taking the lortab..It is an autonomic nervous system response. There was a famous russian physiologist pavlov who trained dog to salivate at the sound of the bell...In your case, your gut is responding to the "lortab", eventhough that short time is not likely truly having an effect yet.. Not from Lortab: Lortab contains hydrocodone - an opioid narcotic that notoriously causes constipation. Look for some other cause of your colonic urgency!
