6yo f with oligosaccharidosis result (genome not back). could temperature variance over half hour of 5 degrees (103.9 to 99) be autonomic? or what?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Temperature: Fever is greater than 101.5. Normal is 98.6. Fluctuations between 99-103 are not normal and could rise or fall quickly in infection. Autonomic nervous system is very complex but if you are fluctuating up and down frequently without infection you should see your neurologist who can order the appropriate tests to confirm autonomic abnormal functioning. I hope this was beneficial.
