Dr. Beth Cook answered

OB Abdomen Pain: Pain in the right upper quadrant can certainly be positional due to the baby. However, there are other conditions that may cause right upper quadrant pain such as acid reflux, gallbladder disease, or even pre-eclampsia. For position discomfort due to the baby, try resting on the floor on your hands and knees with you abdomen freely hanging.
