Possible: Tyipcal kidney infections are associated with fever and significant flank pain. You more likely have bladder infection. You should visit with your doctor for a full evaluation.

Probably not UTI: Traumatic urethritis most likely increased fluids don't hurt but time is probably the reason for "cure".
