messed up sleep schedule wakeing up with mild guts pains and shakeing like im cold. how can messed up sched cause this n what's best way to set sleep schedule tried forcin to sleep same time don't wrk?

Ativan (lorazepam) and melatonin: If you are on a regular dose of ativan, (lorazepam) the last dose should be taken at bedtime, otherwise you will experience rebound insomnia in the middle of the night. Sleep deprivation can cause all sorts of physical problems, especially G.I. Problems. I would recommend you take melatonin 3 mg two hours prior to your desired sleep time. Lorazepam should be taken right at bed time. Best wishes..
