Herpes: It sure sounds like you are operating on old information about herpes. If one has herpes they are always contagious, whether they have a sore or not. The rate of viral shedding, however, is unpredictable and untestable. If you have any viral shedding now your contagiousness will be about 50% reduced if you are on medications.
