Yes! Believe it or: Not! one can develop sensitivities including life threatening allergies to foods and medications to which one has been previously exposed without harm. We call this "sensitization". It happens. Best not to re-challenge if you have developed anaphylaxis. If your doctor has prescribed an epi-pen for you and suggested avoiding shellfish, i'd stick with that plan.
