Scapula?: If you meant the scapula, there are attachments of the scapula ("shoulder bone") to ones muscles; these points of attachment are fibrous tissue which can become inflamed. Initial use of ice might help, however, the sooner one sees an orthopedic doctor the quicker one knows the diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
