AAN recs: The american academy of neurology does recommend getting the flu shot for any patient with multiple sclerosis. The only caveat is that it should not be the live attenuated virus. Good luck and take care.

Yes: Would recommend flu shot, with dead virus, as viral infections could prompt a relapse, especially if you are using an interferon, which is not as potent as Tysabri (natalizumab) or the newer orals, such as Gilenya.
