further workup: Beyond 2 semen analyses with pellet, an lh and prolactin level would complete his hormonal evaluation. The above results suggest that he has non obstructive azospermia. The next step is genetic testing, including a karytype and y deletion assay. If normal, then he may consider a testicular mapping procedure.
