Eye: Inflammation of eyelids. More common cause is seborrhea. Anti dandruff shampoos would help.

Eyelid inflammation: Blepharitis is a chronic inflammation of the eyelids. Commonly this is due to meibomian gland dysfunction. The meibomian glands of the eyelids normally produce an oily secretion that coats the tears. But some individuals produce a thicker than normal secretion (like genetic) that leads to inflammation. Treatment includes artificial tears, warm compresses, omega 3 fatty acids, and eyelid cleaning.
