Diarrhea: If you have excessive diarrhea, make sure you are well hydrated. Usually, diarrhea is a manifestation of acute gastroenteritis, which would take about 48-72 hours to resolve. If you have longer than this or become too dehydrated, you need to seek medical evaluation and appropriate treatment. Avoid taking immodium if possible since this can actually prolonged the course and can be dangerous.
