Probably stomach: The most commonly ulcerated area in the upper GI tract is in the first part of the small intestine called the duodenum. This pouch empties the stomach and where most ulcers occurs. Stomach ulcers are less common, and if do not heal properly, need to reevaluate. Could be gastric cancer, lymphoma and other possibilities. See the gastroenterologist.
