Cautiously: It should be emphasized that soma, or carisoprodol, has abuse potential and using that in conjunction with a treatment for opioid use disorder may have risks associated with it although this is perhaps already appreciated by both you and your prescribing physician. The two medications it should be said have a capacity to produce respiratory suppression and in excess could be lethal. Stay safe!
