Depends: You didn't say whether you're a man or woman, which makes a big difference. The body location also matters (male urethra, female genital tract, throat, or rectum.) we don't typically think of gonorrhea as having 'stages, ' the way syphilis does, but if left untreated there can be complications especially in women (e.g. Pid, disseminated infection with joint involvement).
