Depends why: Mostly the pill suppresses the ovaries, but it is possible to get escape ovulation and a cyst. The pill also makes the lining of the uterus unfavorable for pregnancy as added protection. Some cysts are not related to ovulation so they occur despite the pill. Most cysts are benign and resolve on their own.
