Which enzyme?: If it is alt or ast, then it is an indication of liver injury. If you drink, stop taking alcohol entirely in any form and redo the test in three months. Liver makes many other enzymes also. See this site for more info. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/elevated-liver-enzymes/my00508.
